Butterflies aren’t exactly the most cooperative subjects — they flap off the second you even think about reaching for the camera. But every now and then, one decides to stick around long enough for a decent shot. These little flashes of colour brighten up the garden, the woods, even the random patches of nettles I’ve wandered into.
